Hello! This is the first official post on the blog! Wahoo! Here's how it works:
You have all been invited to be authors on the blog, so we can all post whatever we like. Monthly, however, I'll post a picture of the upcoming book and a short synopses of it. Under the "Comments" section, I thought it would be helpful for us to make a short comment letting others know if we have the book, when we're finished reading it, or any other "book exchange communication" others may find useful. Sound good? Great! Let's get started!
"'It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife.' Thus memorably begins Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, one of the world's most popular novels. Clever and precocious, Austen began Pride and Prejudice when she was only twenty-one years old. From the initial friction between the opinionated Elizabeth Bennett and the arrogant, wealthy Mr. Darcy, this witty comedy of manners dips and turns through its interlocking plots to reach an immensely satisfying conclusion.
